Hi, Iā€™m Kate.

In a digital age where we are constantly being distracted, I want to draw attention to the natural world and the beauty of the changing seasons. I am always moved by the wildness and unpredictability of nature and use it as a place to nurture both my body and mind.

My love of foraging has encouraged me to really notice things in the environment and so really be present in the moment. I am constantly bringing nature indoors (be it the perfect branch at Christmas or the prettiest bunch of Oxeye daisies gathered on a walk in summer) and this led me to experimenting with dried botanicals. No longer fleeting, dried flowers take on an ethereal beauty that becomes permanent and something to be enjoyed all year round.

My flower sculptures are wild and whimsical and each one is completely unique. They are made from natural materials and each element I have either foraged and dried myself or has been sourced from a sustainable UK business. My pieces can be hung in your home and with minimal care be enjoyed for many years to come.

I have a background in painting and sculpture and attended UAL Camberwell College of Art. I live in the Surrey Hills with my husband Tom, my three children and our dog Coco (my studio assistant).
